Mary Romanos

B.Pod (Hons). MAPodA. MSEPA

Endorsed To Prescribe Scheduled Medicines

Mary Romanos graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry with Honours in 2009.


Her honours research was investigating the reliability of a blood pressure measurement in the toes in people with diabetes. This research was published in 2012 in the Journal of the Foot and Ankle and presented at the National Australian Podiatry Conference later that year. Following the completion of her thesis she was awarded the Equus Podiatric. This award is presented to the Podiatry (Honours) student who achieves the highest overall score for an Honours thesis.


Mary has completed a Certificate in Business Administration which has fostered her knowledge and skills in business management, change management and leadership.


In 2024. Mary was appointed by the Governor in Council as a Specialist Member in Podiatry at The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) as a consultant and advisor on all things Podiatry.

Mary Romanos is an Endorsed Podiatrist of Scheduled Medicines.

Endorsement of registration identifies practitioners with additional qualifications and specific expertise in Podiatric Medicine. This allows her to prescribe a range of medicines for foot and ankle pathologies including injection therapy.


Mary understands the importance of diagnoses, the need to maintain physical activity and be able to perform at your very best, regardless of what level you are at.

Mary is an experienced, dedicated and caring Podiatrist who embraces ongoing studies to keep her up-to-date with the very latest in medical research and treatments so she can ensure she offers her patients the very best advice and care. Mary provides friendly and professional treatment of the highest quality for everyone from athletes to children to seniors, and takes a personal interest in ensuring all her patients achive successful outcomes. Her skill and knowledge has been sought as a clinical tutor to podiatry students at La Trobe University.

Mary is an associate member of the Australian Podiatry Association and the Sports and Exercise Podiatry of Australia (SEPA).

Morgan Mackie​

Podiatrist | B.App.Sc(Pod) M.A.Pod.A

Morgan Mackie graduated from the Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Podiatry.


During her time in New Zealand she had the opportunity to practice in both private and public health sectors. This allowed her to spend time with practitioners who were specialised in diabetes and chronic disease, to by contrast running coaches and sports podiatry.


Morgan is particularly interested in managing and treating heel and Achilles pain. Morgan has a keen interest in assessing your overall foot health. Whether you require an annual Diabetes assessment or treat a painful ingrown toenail or simply have your callus management, Morgan is the Podiatrist for you!

Morgan has a passion for helping patients of all ages and treating all aspects of Podiatry with a special interest in sports medicine and biomechanics.

Her background includes playing many years of competitive hockey, growing up on a farm and spending time with freinds and family. Away from Podiatry, Morgan is an all-round sports enthusiast who enjoys running, exploring Melbourne and simply being fit and active.


Morgan’s role at Rebel Sport has helped to further her knowledge in determining the perfect fit for a shoe. She is able to carry out a review in the clinic of your existing shoes and also help to determine which shoes are best suited for your foot type and activity level moving forward.


Morgan is an associate member of the Australian Podiatry Association. She regularly attends podiatry conferences and seminars throughout the year to stay up to date with the latest research in podiatry, enabling her to provide the highest level of care to each of her patients.

Lidia Ambrosino​

BHS.M.Pod.

Lidia Ambrosino graduated from La Trobe University in 2013 with a Bachelor degree in Health Science and a Masters in Podiatric Practice.


Lidia has recently completed her degree in Diabetes Education and is currently undergoing studies to gain her Endorsement in Scheduled Medicines.

Lidia has worked both in the public and private health sector within Melbourne and central London. Lidia loves all aspects of the podiatric profession and has a keen interest in diabetic foot care. She also enjoys the management of in-grown toenails (including surgical management); assessing, diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries; foot wear assessment and education; and all general podiatric care. She is passionate about caring for others and helping them be pain-free and comfortable in their daily lives. Lidia enjoys volunteering at the Oxfam Trail Walk for blister control and helping people complete their challenge!


In her spare time, Lidia enjoys trail walking and yoga. She loves staying active! Lidia has lived abroad in both London and Berlin, eating and hiking her way through Europe and back home to Melbourne.


Lidia understands the importance of a gentle touch, and aesthetics. She maintains continuous professional development by attending seminars and workshops across all areas of podiatry and is committed to providing her patients with the best possible care.

Janita Brown

B.App.Sc (Pod). Post Grad (Pod). MAPodA

Janita brings over 30 years’ of experience in Podiatry, Janita has successfully treated over 120,000 patients. She has worked extensively in both the public and private sectors during her professional life. Janita has particular interest and experience in biomechanics and orthotics and has completed post graduate Pod Pediatric studies at Flinders University.


She is a passionate professional who keeps abreast of the latest advances in Podiatry and offers a full range of podiatry services including dry needling, high risk foot diseases including diabetes, peripheral vascular disease, arthritic conditions, and gait problems.

Janita manages sports injuries, children’s feet, pronation, neuroma, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, knee pain, ingrown toenails, fungal nails, corns, callous, warts, tinea and bunions.


Janita is a great believer in evidence-based practice to not only treat presenting symptoms but the underlying causes as well. Her approach in treatment involves educating, motivating, and supporting patients to implement their treatment plans and therefore achieve the very best outcomes.


Janita is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association, Diabetes Special Interest Group and the Sports Medicine Special Interest Group.
